Orloff, Benesch, & Hansen (2023)
50 sound files (5 exemplars each of 10 sound classes) for use in misophonia research. Sound classes include both oral and non-oral trigger sounds. All sound files are segmented and annotated with descriptive labels. A taxonomy of all descriptive labels is provided for visualization.
FOAMS was made possible through a soQuiet student research grant.

Hansen & Benesch (2024)
A Python package to customize stimuli for experiments on misophonia based on participants' self-reported triggers.
MisoSOUPy aims to assist researchers in optimizing their experimental stimuli for each participant via a user-friendly selection process onscreen, including options to select and further refine both trigger and neutral sound stimuli.
Created with help from the brilliant Danielle Benesch.
